Nero backitup restore doesnt ask for 2nd disc

Last edited: Jan 15, Guyy , Jan 15, I too will probably re-nstall Nero 6, although I have been able to unzip all files that I can access on 3 of the discs using WinZip, tedious but worthwhile. My bigger problem seems to be that I cannot see any information on the other 3 discs. I don't know why, if I could access the files, I would WinZip them and bypass un-installing, re-installing Nero. Guyy , Jan 16, I correct myself after some investigation to your information. I found one more where this failed. So it is not a general bug of Nero Backitup. In the past I did not deploy the verification after burning feature. Maybe this had helped?

Or not. But all failing split files have been. All good split files have been other file formats. A coincidence? A question to Nero personnel if they read the forum: Can the type of file have influence to the spanning feature? Or is disc spanning just an instable feature and should be avoided? And improved by nero in future releases of course. Nero is good but Backitup is a terrible app that should be recalled til the bugs are worked out and you can control the burn speed.

I Have been communicating with a Ahead engineer over a BIU issue similar to this, and while he is responsive, has not yet produced results.
